Simplicity, craftsmanship and rural beauty
BETWEEN NATURE AND BEAUTY
AUTHENTIC SOUL
Through the accurate and respectful restoration of a once small country building used by farmers at the beginning of the 1900’s as a shack to store tools, rest and shelter from bad weather, we obtained 2 large independent rooms, each with shower room.
The restoration has preserved the simple history of the site and enhanced the authenticity of the humble, rural life of the past.
Their names, Khlorò (green) and Sciàleno (yellow), are words in Griko (old Greek from Salento) inspired by the colours of the prickly pear: the green cladodes (the leaf-like branch of the plant) and its yellow hermaphrodite flowers.
